The Black Boy
We at The Black Boy are a land mark public house located on the B1033 main road to Frinton and Walton, in the picturesque village of Weeley. You can either socialise and dine casually in our bar area, or you can sit in our conservatory style restaurant overlooking the large beer garden and tuck into a delious dish. We have a good selection of quality ales, wines and spirits including award winning Cask Marque – one of our real ales. So come and experience the warm & firendly atmosphere and our characteristic charm! We must also add, we do not allow dogs inside except guide dogs.
Our menu caters for all tastes and dietry requirements. We have a selection of home cooked meals, from light bites to a full a la carte menu set party menus and celebratory buffets. Our menu list is always changing especially our daily specials boards. All ingredients used are locally sourced, wherever possible, guaranteeing freah and delicious dishes. Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available.
We have regular event nights including our renowned quiz night which is normally held on the first Wednesday of every month. Teams can be of 4 or 6 people and the price to enter is only GBP1.50 per person! If you think you know it all… prove it and enter!
